Hoping our friends and family had a good start to 2014 and have had occasion to set some realistic New Year resolutions and recharge batteries for the year ahead.

We had a wonderful time with our own family staying  over the festive season and a lot of fun sharing  aspects of our very different life in Rwanda. Not only was there a lot to talk about in and around Kigali, but a 3 day trip to Gisenyi in Northern Province proved particularly exhilarating in terms of hilly landscape, views across Lake Kivu, proximity to DR Congo and Virunga National Park, home to the mountain gorillas.

If you plan to visit us in Rwanda, make sure to include a stay at Inzu Lodge in your travel itinerary http://inzulodge.com/about-inzu-lodge/

Tuzongera until next time!
